My OG Turkey Burger is one of my favorite things to make because of how simple and reliably delicious it is. These are the standard turkey burgers I make when I want to let the condiments shine; they are so versatile that they go with any toppings.

Say no to dry turkey burgers
Turkey burgers get a bad reputation for being bland, dry, and otherwise unappealing. These aren't that. When done properly, turkey burgers can be juicy and flavorful. Something that a lot of recipes really skip out on is adding some fat to keep their burgers juicy--in this case we use a little bit of cheese.

For flavor, I use two main ingredients: Worcestershire sauce and Trader Joe's 21 seasoning salute. If you don't have a Trader Joes near you, you can substitute with your own preferred all purpose seasoning. In a pinch, I use Montreal Chicken Seasoning by McCormick which is available at most US grocery stores. If your seasoning blend has salt, be sure to decrease the salt in the recipe.
Grilling Turkey Burgers
After you mix all the ingredients, you're going to form the mixture into six turkey burgers. I find that using wet hands makes this process the easiest and less stickiest. I start by forming them into balls, and then I flatten the turkey burgers in my hands. As you can see, these will be the size of your palm (or at least the palm of a grown man).

If you are grilling, make sure the grill is nice and hot before adding the burgers. They'll need to cook for 6-7 minutes, and you'll know when to flip them by seeing that the burgers become a paler color and start to get golden around the edges. When the meat is ready to flip, you should actually have no trouble removing them from the grate. If pan frying, spray your pan with some cooking spray and cook on medium heat for 6-7 minutes.

Favorite turkey burger toppings

I love condiments. These burgers are versatile enough that you can top them with pretty much anything. Some of my favorite toppings that you can find on my blog include:
I have a ton of other sauces and condiments in my ebook including ranch, bleu cheese dressing, bbq sauce, and sweet chili sauce. If you want to see the full list of recipes and buy my ebook, click here.

Shake up your turkey burgers
Now while this is the OG turkey burger, I have a few variations on my website that are huge hits:

The Southwestern turkey burger is probably my favorite, and it's one of my most popular variations. You can find even more turkey burgers in my ebook too including a Chorizo spiced burger, Greek turkey burger, and a buffalo bleu cheese turkey burger--all of which are absolutely incredible.
