This healthy Greek yogurt ranch dressing is one of my all time favorite recipes, and I am excited to finally share it on my blog! As you may know, I published my ebook this past summer, and it has been the number one recipe to come from it. To this day, I get tagged once a week on Instagram.

Ranch is something people take seriously. My wife used to refer to restaurants based on if they had “good ranch” or “that fancy, gross ranch.” This ranch is ranch-snob approved, and delicious. It’s thick, but it’s pourable. It’s flavorful, but not “too fresh” according to my wife, who thinks “fancy ranch” is tolerable (but not real ranch). Whether you’re dressing a salad, dipping pizza, or serving it with a side of air fryer chicken tenders, this ranch is the real deal ranch perfect for ranch snobs everywhere.

Weight Watchers Ranch Dressing
This healthy Greek yogurt ranch dressing is ZERO points on Weight Watchers for a quarter cup. I don't know about you, but I'm not a 1 tablespoon kind of guy when it comes to condiments or salad dressings. This is four tablespoons for zero points on blue and purple (green is one point) and it is only 34 calories for 1/4 cup. The best part is, it is actually delicious (unlike other low calorie ranches out there).

Greek Yogurt Ranch
One of the biggest questions I get is "does this taste like Greek yogurt?" It doesn't. I think Greek yogurt is gross on its own. After years of cooking with it, the smell is still awful. I made this recipe originally because the Greek yogurt + a pack of store bought seasoning was not doing it for me. It was thick and still tasted very much like Greek yogurt. This however, does not have the sourness or overall "healthy taste" of Greek yogurt based ranches--I promise.

Healthy Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

This ranch is ranch-snob approved, and delicious. It’s thick, but it’s pourable. It’s flavorful, but not “too fresh” according to my wife, who thinks “fancy ranch” is tolerable (but not real ranch). Whether you’re dressing a salad, dipping pizza, or serving it with a side of buffalo tenders, this ranch is the real deal ranch perfect for ranch snobs everywhere.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 c light mayo
- 1 c unsweetened cashew milk (or whatever milk you prefer)
- 1 tsp dried dill weed*
- 2 tsp dried chives
- 1-2 tsp kosher salt*
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of black pepper
- Small pinch of smoked paprika (optional, but delicious)
Instructions
- Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Chill covered in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld together. It’s even better the next day!
Notes
This ranch keeps for about one week.
Two biggest points of feedback include the salt level and the dill. Dill is pretty powerful and brands can have different flavor based on your dried dill. If you are sensitive to dill and/or salt, do those last. I also want to point out that all of my recipes use KOSHER salt which is a bigger grain than table salt. Table salt, by volume, is saltier than kosher salt.
Consistency: this is made to be a pourable dressing not dip for vegetables. You can, of course, dip vegetables, but it is thinner than the sour cream + ranch packet ranch dip.

Totally! It won't be exactly the same--I think the dill gives it that true ranch flavor, but it will still be delicious.

I was skeptical because I'm also a ranch snob but this recipe is pretty tasty! I could still detect a slight yogurt taste but it was probably because I knew it was in there (i.e. it was in my head). I went a bit heavy on the Dill and chives and lighter on salt. Next time I'll dial back the Dill and add more salt. Also added smoked paprika but I may add more next time (thinking it may make it more like Outback's ranch, yum!). Thanks Dward!!!
